Social Networks such as Facebook are everywhere. They gather a wide range of data about each and everyone of us who joins their ranks.
This presentation looks at what data they collect and how it is used by application developers and marketeers.
It also looks at how to extract the data via the Facebook API and analyse that data in R, the statistics package.
Finally it looks at other data sources including EXIF data from cameras and Telematics data being installed in cars
